For Building Preservation Trusts the Practice offers feasibility studies to identify the most appropriate use for a building which has fallen derelict or empty. We prepare detailed condition reports with estimated costs of repair together with scheme drawings to show alternative uses and plan layout.
Our report includes a conservation statement to identify the significance of the building and a room by room schedule of significance identifying what is important to the significance and why. Routinely these reports include schedules of condition on important aspects of the building such as windows, doors and joinery.
We provide reports which can be offered to and accepted by all the major grant aiding bodies as part of a grant application package.
