Many historic buildings are tremendously tall, especially our national collection of historic churches and cathedrals. High level masonry and roofs are buffeted by extreme weather and with maintenance of these elements difficult, their condition can be overlooked until an urgent situation arises.
The Practice has been working with the National Churches Trust on a pilot scheme of Drone inspections on selected ecclesiastical buildings across Northern Ireland. Our high-level inspection service combines the skills of the latest remotely piloted aircraft with the expert knowledge and experience of an historic building’s consultancy.
Our subsequent reports provide informed conclusions on the condition of these difficult to access areas with costed and graded solutions to repair.
