St. Cedma’s Parish Church Repairs

St. Cedma’s Parish Church stands on an ancient ecclesiastical site with parts of the present church dating from 1350 but with extensive Victorian restoration.  Our Quinquennial inspection of the church fabric confirmed rainwater penetration was becoming an issue and the roof slating and Tower fabric was coming to the end of its life.  The Parish, with our help, was successful with an application for grant aid to the Listed Places of Worship Repair Scheme. Christ Church Cathedral (Lisburn) Restoration

Christ Church Cathedral is a grade A listed building, dating from the early 18th century.  In 2008 stone to the spire became loose and the Select Vestry decided to investigate the reason for the failure and any remedial work necessary to the spire and the remainder of the Cathedral building.
